Tule River Fire Department Search Primary Menu Search for: Welcome Message from the Chief It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Tule River Fire Department website, a valuable resource for the residents and visitors of the Tule River Indian Reservation. I feel as excited and lucky to be here as I did on my very first day many years ago. As you might imagine, I have witnessed many changes in the community and subsequently to this organization over these years, but the one thing that has remained constant is the Tule River Fire Department’s unwavering dedication and commitment to serving our community. As Fire Chief, I have the privilege to serve a great community and work alongside some of the most talented individuals in the Fire Service. I have watched time and again members of our Fire Department perform heroic deeds and monumental acts of kindness and compassion while, at the same time, never wanting to take the spotlight for such acts. These individuals are here 24/7, 365 days a year to serve this great community. Thank you for taking time to visit our site. Sincerely, Richard Brown, Fire Chief Mission Statement The mission of the Tule River Fire Department is to protect the lives, property and environment of citizens and visitors of the Tule River Indian Reservation by a two fold means; by providing a rapid response to mitigate all types of fires, medical aids, traffic accidents, natural disasters and public assistance in the community. We are also committed to protection that takes place by efforts of prevention work in the community, while also providing a work environment that values cultural diversity and is free from harassment and discrimination of all types. Value Statement Establishing public confidentiality and trust that gives us opportunity to better serve the public. A work environment that promotes harmony and respect for each person, and is free of harassment, discrimination and retaliation. A diverse work force which reflects the community it serves. A highly trained professional work force with teamwork will effectively achieve the Tule River Fire Department’s Mission.
